This proved to be more popular than I could ever have imagined. Two Jewish people wrote thank you letters, folk called in and even to this day some local folk mention it. I was never sure if the atheists got the joke though so I tried a bit harder some time later by putting up:

This worked a treat. One guy reported me to the police to try and get them to have it taken down. I was so delighted at his response I kept it up another month! Well hey, I never claimed to be a saint.  ;-)
