T new Undertaking - Motorcycle Funerals

Since the nineties I had wanted to do motorcycle funerals for motorcyclists but I procrastinated. Drop Bears After a few years Russell at  DropBears.com in Australia emailed me, he ran the famous motorcycle funerals website. To my astonishment Russell, who had no clue I was thinking about this, told me he thought I would make a natural successor and offered it to me.

From the original Drop Bears site - Respect!I took over the website and drew up UK designs. An Australian style open deck is useless in our weather, can you imagine a cardboard coffin in winter? Sadly I listened to the voices of reason who felt more comfortable with me in the conventional ministry box and postponed. But after injuries, pain  and seeing 13 years ministry closed while in recovery I concluded it was time to do what God was calling me to so patented the enclosed professional weather protected sidecar hearse. One house sale later...

Undertaking Training

Launch of the UK's first Motorcycle Hearse and Motorcycle Funerals LimitedI trained at LJ Butler and Saville & Son Funeral Directors my duties involved moving a famous coffin from chapel to chapel. When the prototype hearse was finally  launched at The Ace Cafe where Father Scott Anderson did the blessing. We then rode to Kensal Green Cemetery for the Classic Hearse Register's Hearse of the Year show.
